There’s no denying the 2016-2017 winter season has been monumental. Historical snowfall fell at many resorts and created record-breaking snow totals. The bulk of the storms took place in January and February, but some resorts still had major dumps in March and April. Resorts operations are winding down, but several resorts are planning to stay open for as long as possible. With all this snow this season, the backcountry is bountiful and prime for spring missions, just make sure to play it safe.
